I am a Practicing artist and a design teacher at a Grammar School in Penrith Cumbria, where I have taught for the last 10 years. Before this I taught Art and craft for 5 years in a local Playgroup, nursery and toddler group, working with children from 18 months - 4 years old and their parents. I have also worked in local primary schools assisting Artists in residence, on textiles and ceramic projects and in my current teaching post have run various projects using ICT and digital design projects with year 6 pupils.

In addition to my work with children I have also worked with a local artist on a photography project for the blind in my local library where they exhibited their work on tactile developing papers.
